We’re Expanding! - Keep track of our progress.
We’re very proud of the kitchen team, their hard work ensures mouths are fed in both the restaurant and farm shop every day of the week. Yet sharing one kitchen can be tight, and doesn’t allow both the chefs and the production team to fully flex their culinary skills.
So were constructing a new one, purpose-built for the talented team of bakers that work for us. This new kitchen will give everyone much more room and shiny new equipment, allowing us to expand our range of homemade produce and bakes. We’re working hard at being more sustainable, and having this kitchen will allow us to increase the proportion of homemade items in our shop and restaurant substantially - reducing food miles and our CO2 footprint.
Plus, we’re not adding any additional areas onto the existing building, we’ve been busy making room so that the kitchen will be in-house next to our deli, ensuring that the wildlife around us remains undisturbed.
Not only is this good for us, it’s good for you. This new home will let creative juices flow, we’ll have exciting new bakes and goodies for you to try almost straight away. It’ll be giving you much more transparency into our process; from this blog to behind-the-scenes on IG, even to the window which customers can look through in the farm shop.
We’ll be upping the size of the team to maximise output as well. Their delicious lil’ creations are bound to be popular (who doesn’t like cake?) and each will bring their own skillset to the baking table.

It's done! Kathryn and Megan have moved in this week and they've got stuck straight in. Just over a month's work has come to and end and the results are amazing. Their own purpose-built space to expand the scale of our homemade produce.
